As we take a break for Thanksgiving, we want to wish every one of you a very happy holiday. May you be blessed with time & food shared with family & friends. Remember to be thankful for all that we have, especially the little things, & share your thankfulness with your children. Teach them about the small joys -especially as we head into the gift giving & getting season.

Dear Co-Op Families,

Thanks to all of you for a fun fundraiser! Thanks to the Board of Directors for a well organized fundraiser. It was nice to see all of our families coming together & working toward improving our little school
for the kids 🙂

Don’t forget to pick up any items that you may have loaned for the
event. Most of them are either in the kitchen or in the Office walkway.
Please plan to retrieve them before next Tuesday.

Our little school is quickly filling up & that makes us all very happy 🙂

We have some great things happening in October;

• Entry in the Pioneer Day Parade-  help us decorate on Friday, Oct 1oth @ 5:00 p.m. @ school, then meet Saturday, Oct 11th @ 9:00 a.m., place TBD, & walk w/ the kids in the Parade.

• School Picture Days- 15th & 16th 

• Field Trips to the Pumpkin Patch- to be announced

• BBQ Fundraiser- Oct 18th 2:30-5:00 p.m.

• Classroom Halloween Parties!

We are very excited to start our new school year 2014-2015!

We look forward to seeing returning families & to welcoming new families to our school.

Here are some dates you need to know:

*August 21, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. is Parent/s only Orientation Night. Come & meet your child’s teacher, attend an informational meeting & sign up for our first ALL Families Clean Up Day. It’s also a great night to meet the other Parents in your child’s class 🙂

*August 23, open from 7:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. -come & complete your Clean Up Day job. This is a mandatory Clean Up Day. If you cannot attend, make arrangements w/ Director to complete your requirement @ a different time.

* August 27/ 28, are our first days of school. WELCOME!

*September 1, is Labor Day & school will be closed.

This will be another great year @ PRCP.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our year end celebration picnic 🙂  We could hardly believe how fast this school year went by. It seems not that long ago that we were having Orientation & meeting many of you for the first time. Soon after came the first day of school for your little students. Since then we have come to know each other better & we have all become much closer, hopefully developing some lasting friendships along the way.

Another big THANK YOU to everyone at our school for their involvement & help when needed. This has been a shinning year; showing true cooperative spirit!

It is sad to see the year end, but it is bitter-sweet. This past year was a happy time that we spent helping your child to learn & grow, setting a solid example & giving them tools for their future education. We did that. More importantly; we did it together!

We have started open enrollment for our 2014 – 2015 school year & there are still some spaces available in our 2-4s & Pre-K classes!

Registration is processed on a first come/first served basis and requires the following forms to be submitted in order to confirm your spot:

• Completed Contract/ Registration Form
• $50 registration fee (cash or check)

• Parent Support Job preferences

Our Camp Co-Op program was a huge success & many of our out-going, returning & new students had a great time enjoying a variety of activities! Camp Co-Op is always fun & educational : )

Now that we have “wrapped-up” Camp, our focus is toward the upcoming school year. We are still accepting applications & have spaces available in most classes -but some spots are filling up quickly. Please contact us @ 238-5059  if you would like to visit our school, turn in an application or if you have any questions to discuss. We will call you back as soon as possible.

Don’t forget the Holiday Program on December 21, 2012 at 6:30 pm in the Live Oak Church Sanctuary. Our Winter Break is from December 22 thru January 6. See you on January 7, 2013!  We still have spaces in both  Pre-K classes~ MWF and TTHF~ and in our MW  3s/4s Class. Come join us for 2013!

Come join us for buckets of fun at PRCP Camp Coop! Camp meets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am-12:00pm. We have been having a great time painting, exploring, imagining, learning and crafting. Cost is $25/day or you can purchase a 10-punch pass. Drop ins are welcome and its also a great way to introduce new students to preschool.

There are still four weeks left (Camp ends August 9), so come by and join in the fun.
